If you look a few posts down, you will see a portrait very similar to this titled "David, Leslie & Addison". Well, that's because this is David's younger brother with his family, and these were both created for their grandmother for Christmas. This is a great family!

Caroline

I've been making photographs of this cutie since she was still in her Mom's belly! Now she's 2 and, of like most 2-year-olds, full of energy! She has such a sweet face!

Jennifer, Jason, Jesse, Joseph and Jonas

That's a bunch of "J's"! I have had the privilege of photographing this family as it has rapidly grown. Jennifer and Jason are some of the best people you'll ever meet, and their boys are really sweet, too.

It doesn't seem that long ago that I created a portrait very similar to this of Shane's big sister, Bridgette. I know I say it all the time, but time really flies!

Tyler & Cody

These guys are great! Their Mom, Lisa, has been at Baptist Hospital for an extended time, and we did this pro bono as a Thanksgiving gift for her. She loved it, of course.

Ella & Samuel

Once again, I had the privilege of photographing Samuel and Ella at their home. They are beautiful kids!

David, Leslie & Addison

One of my best clients, Zora, loved this portrait of her grandson with his wife and their new baby. I went to school with David and Leslie, and they are going to make great parents!

Lilly just got her braces off and Denise (Mom) wanted some nice portraits of her beautiful new smile!

The Milners

I had the pleasure of photographing the Milners again this year. They have quite a large family, with many adoptions. This family is tons of fun, and super-nice to boot. They went tubing behind a boat after we did these portraits ... in Lake James ... on Nov. 29 ... in 40-degree weather!

Ellie

Ellie is such a cute 3-month-old! She is holding her head up like a champ!

Every year around this time I get to photograph my very first "My First Year Club" client ... Brayden! He is 5 now, and loving life.

Brody was a little bit timid when he first came in for his 6-month portraits. But after a few minutes of playing, he was good to go!

Leah looks just like her Daddy! She can sit up so well now, and is great at looking extremely lovable, too!

Cooper's first visit to our studio went extremely well! He slept through most of the session, except for when he woke up briefly to pee on Daddy!

This portrait was created right in their front yard! These three all have very different personalities that seem to compliment each other well.

Chasity & Jason

I have known both the bride-to-be and groom-to-be for a few years now. They had one of those "on again, off again" relationships for a while, but it looks like they were back "on" at just the right time! They will be getting married next fall, then moving to Durham.

Amber & Joe

These two are getting married in early January, 2009. They seem so happy together!

This is the most beautiful portrait of Alana. She is the prettiest baby! At 10-months old, she already has more hair than a lot of 2-year-olds!

This precious chunky boy belongs to my good friends Mike and Chasity, and is little brother to one of my favorite little girls, Olivia. Matthew's future girlfriends are going to get a kick out of this one day!

Preschool Time

This time of year, I am photographing TONS of preschools. I have photographed over 800 kids at preschools so far this fall ... and I have about 5 more preschools to go! I always try to photograph the kids at preschools just like I would photograph them here in the studio ... only faster! This is one of the little girls from Lenoir Christian Academy that I photographed just this morning.

Blake

Blake did a really good job for his 6-month portraits. Such a fun age!

Red + Red = Red

Amy and Greg, both being redhead's themselves, had no doubt what color Joshua's hair was going to be. This is him after his first "big-boy" haircut!
